Virtual Career and Technical Education Event
Erin Finnegan, The Children’s Guild’s, Managing Director of TAWS Programming, and two TAWS students participated in a virtual Career and Technical Education event hosted by Superintendent Mohammad Choudhury The Maryland State Board of Education and the Maryland State Department of Education on February 17, 2022. The purpose of this event was to have a well-rounded discussion with students, teachers, businesses and community organizations about their experiences, what is working well, what needs to be better along with ideas for innovation for CTE programming, apprenticeships, and industry certified credentials.
